Overview of the Firm

Rosen, Sokol & Clements Immigration Law Group is based in Roswell, GA and consists of a committed group of attorneys and paralegals led by Founding Attorney, Joseph H. Rosen, and Senior Attorneys Anna D. Sokol and Jackeline A. Clements. The three of them have a combined time of thirty-five years of immigration law experience that they bring to the firm.

Joseph Rosen founded the firm in 2001, shortly before 9/11. Prior to starting the firm, Attorney Rosen had a thirty year career with the U.S. Government including 20 years as a special agent with the FBI and the U.S. Treasury Department. Attorney Rosen has extensive experience in all areas of Immigration and was an adjunct professor teaching Immigration and Asylum law at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School for ten years.

Our Firm represents clients from over 100 countries from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia-Oceania and our success rate makes us one of the best immigration law groups in the United States.

Being that immigration law is our primary focus practice area, we have developed our expertise by understanding the different scenarios that our cases present us. Our years of experience allows us to recognize the issues of a case and to advise you how to put forward the strongest case for a successful outcome.

Our clientele includes world class professional athletes and coaches of extraordinary ability, renowned artists and entertainers, and successful entrepreneurs. Our business clients include professionals, skilled workers, and business owners. Our business clients have successfully been approved for various visas, including H, E, L, and J. We have assisted clients extending or changing their status to a different nonimmigrant status while in the U.S.

As part of our family based immigration practice, we represent clients filing for Permanent Resident status for relatives in the U.S. including children, spouses, and parents. We also represent family members bringing relatives from overseas. In the naturalization area, we represent Legal Permanent Residents filing for naturalization or documenting their status as U.S. citizens through birth either in the U.S. or through their bloodlines as descendants of U.S. citizens. We have also assisted numerous clients both within and outside the U.S. in obtaining waivers of inadmissibility based upon prior minor or major criminal activity, prior occurrences of fraud, prior issues relating to unauthorized presence, and other factors leading to inadmissibility or removability.

Our Offices

The RSC Immigration Law Group maintains a U.S. office in Roswell, Georgia and a European office in Lodz, Poland.

The U.S. office provides full legal services in all areas of U.S. immigration law to clients located in the United States and in more than 100 countries throughout the world. With an efficient and technologically advanced system, clients are provided with an easy way to communicate with our firm.

To facilitate contact with our firm for our European clients, we have opened a Representative Office in Lodz, Poland, located in the center of the city. The office in Poland does not provide direct legal services, but acts as liaison between the Firm and the individuals living in Europe with an interest in immigrating to the U.S. for family or business purposes.

Pro Bono

The RSC Immigration Law Group actively participates in Pro Bono representations and programs. We have provided free community presentations at local churches, schools, and community groups. The attorneys and staff actively volunteer at community immigration activities including U.S. citizenship drives and other immigration-related activities. The Firm also strives to actively take on a representative sample of Pro Bono cases involving asylum matters, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) cases, immigration representation of spouses and parents of U.S. military members.

The Firm also handles numerous reduced fee cases in support of our Pro Bono activities. The Firm continuously makes financial and volunteer contributions to charitable and non-profit organizations for causes ranging from RAKSHA, the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN), the Catholic Archdiocese Immigration Project, the Atlanta Bar Association Lawyer Referral & Information Service, the Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer fundraisers, St. Baldrick’s Foundation -Childhood Cancer Research, and other related activities.

Attorneys from the Firm have served in leadership and participatory roles with the North Fulton Bar Association, the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network, the Atlanta Polish Club, the Atlanta Canadians, The Atlanta Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service, and the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta Immigration Project.
