Mrs. Petersen is originally from Denmark and entered the United States in 1996. She earned her B.B.A. degree in Logistics and Purchasing from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. She naturalized to become a United States Citizen in 2009 and was involved with CASA until she started law school. Mrs. Petersen started working for Joseph H. Rosen Immigration law group in August of 2014 while attending her last semester in law school. Mrs. Petersen earned her Juris Doctor degree in May of 2015 and passed the Georgia Bar the same month.
Mrs. Petersen has handled a variety of immigration cases, including appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals, Hardship Waivers, Asylum and Cancellation of Removal. Mrs. Petersen is responsible for assisting clients, preparing forms and submissions to USCIS, representing clients in Immigration Court, and for attending client interviews for Green Card status and citizenship at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (U.S. CIS). She is fluent in Danish and English.
